Our beloved GOTE has just been re-opened!.
With no mythical creatures and no supernatural powers, Galloping on the Edge is an original horse rp with an interesting and creative plot.
It is Fall in the lands. Leaves are beginning to turn and the days are getting shorter and colder..
It is breeding season It is not foaling season
ENTER A WORLD
` When things were easy, refreshingly normal. The cool Spring wind caressed your skin, tousled your mane playfully. Foals frolicked about here and there, the serenity that had surrounded this place was tangible. The green grass glowed under your hooves, beckoned you farther into this peaceful land. Don’t be fooled now, we all know nothing gold stays. But one can only think back to those times and wonder, could it ever be the same? Jump ahead a year or so later, and you’d find yourself in a different place..
Every rp board has one, and so you should read them. Sometimes rules can be long and tedious, but please take the time to atleast skim though the important rules of the board. I'm sure that reading the rules will save you some trouble in the future. =D

Here is the board where you post your characters. Don't worry you don't have to be accepted. Each account may have one thread, where they can put all their characters on. Please, only one thread per account. =D
Life Giving Canyons (1 sub-board) Here is where you come to give birth, and adopt other fillies and colts. It is a land of miracle, and sorrow for the foals who don't have families. But, nevertheless it is a beautiful and protected space for new born's to take their first breath in.
Amorous Lake Lust, love, passion. You can find all this in the air of these sacred grounds. Oh the joys of planned pregnancy's. Come here to do you know what with you know who, but only in the breeding seasons.
Rancorous Badlands Comes the time one needs to protect their land, tittles, or other equines, it all takes place in this desolate, dry land. Fight to the death if you must. Beware.

Crooks Bend So you going to steal a land, or a mare? Here's the place to come to try to deceive your opponents and to steel your prize. Some may be lucky, and keep their mares. But...some are easily mislead and are prone to having their mares become stolen goods.

Potent Potholes A large river, with many holes in it. Hence the pot holes. Here is where the bacholers hang out, and wait for another stallion to ask them to join their herd. So um, get claiming.

Vegabond Valley (3 sub-boards) Wandering, homeless mares who've decided they need a man in their life can come here to be claimed. Light, Dark and Neutral mares and stallions come here to meet each other, and hopefully leave the valley happy.

Contrasting Turrain
Galleon Meadow A calm and relatively large meadow that's bordered by a beautiful evergreen forest, and a large lake. It's a good place to frolick in, and play with other equine. But watch your step, there's a lot of holes!
Euclid River A wide river that runs from the mountians down to a lake. It winds though a large fur forest. This river has everything from rapids, to waterfalls, to potholes. Some places are good for swimming, and others not so much.
Light Utopia (3 sub-boards) Here lies the light lands, where the good roam and the equine frolick. Don't be to quick to judge this heavenly manor, for the lights can be very hasty at times. Fields, waterfalls and rivers comlplete the the light utopia.
Neutral Reign (3 sub-boards) The reign where the impartial live. They're not light, nor are they completely evil. In this middle ground area you can find peace, and you really have no dark or light standards to live with. You can be you, and that's that. With beautiful grounds, and even a lake or two makes up the cozy neutral reign.
Excreable Manor (3 sub-boards) A dark manor, the edge of the lands. Where evil equine roam, and slink in the shadows. Many places in this land are dead, and creepy as the sun rarly shines. This wasteland is only for the evil. Be wary oh equine, be wary
Graphics (1 sub-board) If you would like a manipulation made for a character of yours, let us know here and someone will try and do it for you. There is also a critique board if you would like an opinion on a manipulation that you have done.
